PAANDA invites proposal submissions from directors of ANY experience level.
Only requirement? Have a show and a creative directive vision in mind!
Whether its a full-length, a new work, caberet, double feature, classic, or any other form- we'd love to hear your proposal.
Use the form provided below to let us know a little bit about yourself, the play, and why you think it would work for our club! then just shoot it to us in an email @paandafremantle@outlook.com!
(P.S. we also accept suggestions for shows without the intention of directing. If you have a show that you would love to see us put on but are iffy on taking on the direction shoot us a message on our insta! @fremantlepaanda. We LOVE hearing suggestions from our community <3)

WHAT DO PRODUCTION PROPOSALS ACTUALLY MEAN FOR YOU?
As a university club, we are ALWAYS encouraging our members (committee, general or social!) to dip their toes into roles within the club- especially directing!
Directing can seem SUPER daunting, but as a team we are here to support you with every step. PAANDA was created to encourage our members to try new and unfamiliar roles in theatre! But we get it! I co-directed my first show with PAANDA in 2024 and was petrified- but with the help of the club it quickly became more fun that it was nerve wracking, and meeting new people and having creative freedom while directing makes it SO worthwhile.
When proposing a show for us, all you have to do is read the guidelines and fill out the form on this page!
We are mainly looking at your name, the show you are pitching, and why you think it would be good for our club to put it on!!
PAANDA has done a variety of show types, so we promise you that no show is too weird or cringe to propose- we welcome all proposals with open paws!

PRODUCTION PROPOSALS
SEMESTER ONE
2026
The Performing Arts Association of Notre Dame Australia are currently taking applications for proposals for our Semester 1 production of 2026.
The deadline for proposals for this season is the 31/01/2026.
Club voting will occur during orientation week of semester one, and auditions will follow the week post- dependent on director availability.
